Fifth And Sixth Steps

5th Step: Check Circulation

To check the circulation you must locate the carotid artery. It is easily found by Finding the middle of the throat and it should be right next to there. If you do not feel any movement of any kind start the chest compression's. (Note when checking for circulation do not use your thumb)

6th Step: Chest Compression's

Find the base of the sternum where your ribs join.
Place two fingers at the bottom of the sternum. Place your other hand right above the two fingers. Interlock your hand and lock your elbows. This will give you a little bit more strength. Press down using your wait so that the chest sinks in about 11/2 to 2 inches. This should be done about 15 times to every two breaths.
